About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist, with over 15 years’ experience in providing therapy for a wide range of needs and settings, including school, bereavement, trauma, behavior management, and child and adult medical settings. I completed my education from Adler School of Professional Psychology. I provide a safe, supportive space where you are welcome to explore everything on your mind and find ways to get unstuck.
I am especially passionate about working with those who are living through loss. The experience of loss comes in nearly every shape, color, and form - except the easy one. After experiencing a significant loss or life change, whether it be following a death, job change, illness, pregnancy loss, relationship disruption, or unexpected shift, the experience is jarring, to say the least.
I believe in building upon your strengths and integrating both expressive therapy with techniques informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, Grief Work and Persistent Grief Disorder Therapy, Mindfulness, and SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Experiences).
